The short version
We’re a Marine veteran-owned HVAC, plumbing, and electrical company based in Haltom City, serving homes and businesses across Dallas-Fort Worth. Three licenses, one crew, one number to call — run by a man who’s been fixing things for a living for twenty-five years.
It started with a helicopter
Bryan Handley served as a door gunner with various Marine helicopter squadrons, deploying in support of Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm before leaving the Corps in 1998.
A door gunner’s job leaves no room for “close enough.” You check your weapon, you check it again, and you check it a third time — because the cost of a missed step isn’t an inconvenience, it’s somebody not coming home. That habit doesn’t leave you when you take the uniform off.
Twenty-five years of fixing things
Bryan came back to Texas in 1999 and went to work as a motorcycle mechanic. In 2003 he opened his own shop and ran it for the next fourteen years.
Fourteen years with your name on the door teaches you things a training course can’t. You learn that the repair is only half the job — the other half is the conversation, and whether the customer understood what you told them. You learn that the shop down the road quoting half your price is usually leaving something out. And you learn that a business only survives that long in one way: people come back, and they send their neighbors.
He sold the shop in 2017 and moved into HVAC, plumbing, and electrical work. Seven years in the field, and the same pattern kept showing up — homeowners quoted for a full system replacement when the actual fault was a $300 part. If someone doesn’t know what a capacitor costs, they can be told anything.
Bryan had already spent fourteen years proving a shop can run the other way. So in November of 2024 he built a new one.
How we work
Diagnose honestly. Show you what we found. Quote it in writing before we touch anything. If a $300 repair gets you three more years, we say so — even when the replacement sale would pay better.
That’s not a marketing position. It’s just the only way Bryan has ever known how to run a shop.
Where we are now
We’ve grown to three technicians and moved into our own shop at 1659 Hickory Dr, Suite K in Haltom City — the second shop Bryan has built from nothing. We hold licenses across all three trades:
- TACLA145034C — mechanical (HVAC)
- TECL41866 — electrical
- M43940 — plumbing
That combination is rarer than it should be, and it matters more than it sounds. When your AC replacement needs a panel that can carry it, or a water heater swap turns into a gas line question, most homeowners end up managing two or three contractors who each point at the other. We handle it with one crew, one schedule, one invoice, and nobody to blame but us.
What you can expect
A straight diagnosis. We tell you what’s actually wrong, and we show you. If we say a coil is shot, you get to see the coil.
A price before work starts. In writing. No surprises on the invoice.
Licensed and insured, all three trades. Fully covered, every job.
Someone who answers the phone. We answer during business hours, return calls the same day, and don’t play phone tag.
A 100% satisfaction guarantee. If it isn’t right, we come back and make it right.
Why “Brayden J”
The name is a combination of Bryan’s children’s names. A company named after your kids is a company that isn’t going anywhere.
